AFC Totton have fought their way through to the next round of the FA Trophy after a convincing 2-1 win over Plymouth Parkway.
Goals from Totton Sam Magri and Matty Burrows ensured the stags secured the win.
Minutes from full time Plymouth managed to grab one back through Dylan Jones, however this proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
In the post game interview, Totton boss Bull said: “we scored a good goal from our point of view but I’m sure it would be a poor goal from their point of view.”
In an attempt to try and get back in the game Plymouth altered their shape which in turn hindered Totton’s attacking game plan.
When questioned about Plymouth’s shape change Bull explained: “We allowed them some time on the ball, a bit too much for my liking, then we changed shape ourselves enabling us to come out on top after the half-time break.
Totton will take on Merthyr Town in the next round of the competition, could silverware finally be returning to the Snows stadium?
