ANDONI Iraolo has voiced his concern over the time length of midfielder Alex Scotts knee injury.
The 20-year came off the field injured last week during the Cherries 1-6 battering away to Treble Winners Manchester City.
He has only just got over his previous knee injury after transferring from Championship side Bristol City in the summer for a transfer price of £25 million.
Scott was witnessed running off a dead leg after collapsing onto the ground following an immensely strong blocked tackle from City’s Rodri.
Iraolo declared that his injury is a medial Collateral ligament sprain.
The Spanishman explained the severity of the injury;” It is a grade two injury and it is tough.
“It is on the other knee than the one he had an injury with earlier in the season.
“This is what the doctors have told us, so I don’t have an exact date. How long he will be out for is difficult for us to say at this stage.”
Bournemouth will be without him on Saturday come 5:30pm when they kickoff in the Premier League against Newcastle united as they look to escape bereavement of being 18th in the relegation zone.
