Manchester City could be without both Antoine Semenyo and Erling Haaland for the visit of AEK Athens in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Ghana international Semenyo has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a leg injury while Haaland limped off in City’s 3-2 win over Ipswich on Saturday with a foot injury and remains a doubt.

Haaland netted twice in City win over the Tractor boys last weekend taking his tally up to eight goals for the campaign.

Semenyo has scored twice this season assisting three times after arriving from Bournemouth in January for £64M scoring the winner in the FA Cup final win over Chelsea in May.

Manchester City sit 17th in the Champions League phase table having won 2-0 at Porto before losing 4-2 against holders PSG last week.

City still await a verdict after they found guilty of 114 out of a 115 Premier League financial charges covering the 2009-2010 through 2017/18 seasons.

The Daily Mail reported that City could be on the verge of points deduction which could send the club to the Championship.
