THIS year’s FA Cup should get off to a fantastic start as the magic of the cup is already starting to take affect.
The first round will see Reading and Charlie Savage travel to Robbie Savage’s Peterborough side. This will be just the second time in FA Cup history that a manager of one side is the father of an opposition player.
With this rare occurrence set to take place their is plenty of excitement and talk about other footballing father and sons with debates over who the best are.
These conversations usually include the likes of Zidane, Cruyff and Kluivert; however their are so many footballing dynasties that get forgotten it isn’t always a straightforward conversations.
In an all time father and son XI there is no guarantee these greats of the game would even feature.
Find out more about our thoughts and feelings through the link below as well as listening to what our XI would be.
