Three players who are set to leave their current clubs in the summer on a free transfer

As the 2025/26 season comes to a close, the transfer market is already becoming more and more active, with players announcing their decisions on whether they will renew their contracts, or walk away for nothing, with some massive names being on this list, here are three players who are set to leave their current clubs to explore new opportunities.

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has previously been linked with moves away from the club, however, Silva made the heartbreaking announcement that he will be seeing out his contract at the club, and leaving in the summer as a free agent and will embark on a new adventure away from the Premier League this summer. There has been no official rumours on where he may go.

Fulham winger Harry Wilson, who’s achieved 18 goals and assists this season for the London club is still yet to put pen to paper and sign a new deal. While there was previous interest for the 29 year old from Premier League opposition Everton and Crystal Palace, no official offers were made, and Wilson is looking to test himself in European fixtures, which is something that Fulham cannot offer at the moment.

Finally, John Stones is set to leave Manchester City, after 10 years at the club. The 31 year old who has won everything there is to win with the Manchester club, made an official announcement stating he was not going to renew his deal with City, and clubs around Europe are circulating around him. Everton have been said to have an interest in the centre back, as a potential return for Stones.
