Will history repeat again for Arsenal or will they finally break their curse.

With only five games left in the Premier League The Gunners sit three points clear at the top of the table however Manchester City sitting 2nd with a game in hand, which they will play tomorrow night away to Burnley.

A season that looked like the London based side were gonna run away with could be flipped completely on it’s head they recently come of another loss against The Citizens over the weekend put the pressure solely on them.

A game which would determine where the Premier League title would go at the end of the season proved to be a game for the archive. The home side took the lead in the 16th minute through some magic by Rayan Cherki, who was able to brilliantly dribble his way into the Arsenal box then produce a neat finish in David Raya’s bottom corner.

However Man City’s lead lasted just three minutes, as Kai Havertz was able capitalise on Gianluigi Donnarumma’s horrific mistake in the 18th minute which brought hope back to all Arsenal fans around the world but in the Etihad as they used the momentum and dominated the game hitting the woodwork multiple times but unable to find the back of the net.

Eventually Erling Haaland did what he does best and stuck home again after a physical battle with Gabriel in the 65th minute. Man city were able to hold on to their lead and see out the 2-1 win which puts them touching distance with arsenal.

From possibly winning the quadruple to winning nothing is on the cards for Arsenal. Being knocked out of the FA Cup Quarter-Finals against Southampton and losing the EFL Cup final against Man City.

Last season The Gunners looked like they were going to win it but but fell short at the final hurdle allowing Arne Slot to win the Premier League with Liverpool in his first season.

Arsenal are looking to win their first league crown since 2004 and make it a statement. but will they be able to do it?
