LOCK Richie Gray and back row Luke Crosbie will miss the rest of the tournament after sustaining injuries against Wales.
The pair were critical in Scotland’s thrilling 27-26 win in Cardiff, but will now be without their men after a bicep and shoulder injury respectively.
Full-back Blair Kinghorn is also expected to miss Saturday’s match against France due to a knee issue, which kept him out of the game against Wales.
However, Grant Gilchrist has returned from his suspension and could feature at the weekend.
Another positive is that co-captain, Rory Darge, who also didn’t feature against Wales, should be back fit to face the French at the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
It’s critical Scotland get as many back if they want any chance to win their first Six Nations tournament since Italy’s introduction back in 2000.
