Legendary golfer Tiger Woods teed it up for the first time in 2024 on Thursday at the Genesis Invitational in Southern California.
The five-time Masters winner started his round off with a birdie but after a up and down round, finished his Thursday one over par.
The 48-year-old hasn’t played in a professional tournament since the Masters last year where he withdrew after the making the cut due to a foot injury and was even seen struggling to walk.
Tiger will look to have a better Friday and look to return for the weekend and earn himself some cash to add to his $1.1 billion net worth.
Fellow American Patrick Cantlay had a better day than Tiger and is currently the club house leader with a seven-under 64.
Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy is also off the pace on Thursday and finds himself 10 shots off the lead going into Friday.
Woods even proved he was human like the rest of us when on his approach shot down hole 18, shanked the ball into the trees on the right. He joked about it afterwards and said he was suffering from back spasms.
