The race for European Football in the Premier League

With the 2025/26 Premier Leauge season entering its final few matchdays, the race for European football is shaping up to be a very tight battle, with multiple clubs still in the race.

The top end of the table looks relatively settled, with Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Aston Villa currently occupying the Champions League spots.

Behind them, the race becomes far more congested.

Chelsea , Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton and Bournemouth are all locked in a tight battle for the remaining European spots, with just a handful of points separating them.

There is a possibility that up to 10 Premier League teams could qualify for European competitions, depending on English clubs winning their European tournaments and coefficient rankings, making this season one of the most unpredictable in recent memory.

With how close all these teams are together, one win can completely define a teams European hopes, and as we enter the final few matchdays, there will most certainly be twists and turns, promising a drama filled final few weeks.
