Juventus rally late to beat PSV in Champions League playoff first leg

A LATE GOAL from Samuel Mbangula gave Juventus a slender lead to take into the away leg next week in Eindhoven with eight minutes of normal time to play.

Juventus started the game positively and took the lead in the 34th minute through Weston McKennie to take them 1-0 up into half time.

But PSV responded well in the second half, with a nice finish from former Inter Milan and veteran winger Ivan Perisic to level things up in Turin.

But the substitutes changed the game for the home side late on, with a poachers finish inside the six yard box on the 82nd minute from Samuel Mbangula winning the game for the Old Lady.

The Italians take a 2-1 aggregate lead into the second leg away from home, played in eight days time.
