Is this Daniel Ricciardo’s last dance in F1 or is there a shock return to the grid?

Daniel Ricciardo could be on the move.

DANIEL Ricciardo lost his seat after the Singapore grand prix to former Red bull junior driver Liam Lawson.

The 8-time Grand prix winner now doesn’t have a seat on the grid for next year however there has been rumours that he could see a shock return to the grid.

The rumours see the Australian heading to the new Audi F1 team to partner up with former Renault teammate Nico Hulkenberg. The 2025 entry team is looking to add more experience to its team.

This was Ricciardo’s second stint with the team formally known as Toro Rosso and Alphaturi which is the sister team of the Red Bull racing team – Ricciardo also drove for Red Bull, where he won seven races with the team.

After a couple poor performances, and the fact that VICARB Red bull racing is meant to be a junior team, that was enough for a fed-up Helmet Marko to pull the plug on his time in F1.

However, there are many other drivers competing for the seat with Mick Schumacher.

The former Haas driver, and son of the legendary Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher, is currently the reserve driver for Mercedes and is looking for a seat he can call his own.

No matter who gets the seat, no one can deny that Ricciardo’s influence on F1 is massive, and those eight wins in a Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen era shows if things went his way, then he could have been a world champion.
