Horner accuser suspended by Red Bull after allegations dismissed

THE woman who made allegations towards Red Bull team principle Christian Horner for behaving unprofessionally in the work place has been let go by the F1 team.

Since the start of these rumours and allegations, Horner has strongly denied these claims made by the former employee.

The 50-year-old has maintained his position in the team, however, tensions are high in the camp at the moment as many distractions have come to light.

Red Bull had conducted an internal investigation into Horner on the 15th February but was cleared on the 28th February.

The story quickly picked back up a day later when a series of messages were allegedly leaked to F1 personnel and media but Horner still strongly denied the claims.

Jos Verstappen, father of three time world champion Max Verstappen, has openly criticized Horner and has been backed by his son who is a driver for Red Bull.

Many rumours have been circulating about Verstappen’s place in the team and whether all of this controversy will push him out.

There have been hints of a move to fierce rivals Mercedes as they have a vacancy next year with Lewis Hamilton going to Ferrari.

However, the Dutchman has not let this impact him as he started the season with a win in Bahrain, and has just topped the times in this weeks first practice session in Saudi Arabia.
