REAL MADRID midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has suffered an external ligament injury in his right knee.
It is expected that he will be out until the end of 2023 and be back in action in January.
The French midfielder has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos this season starting 13 of them.
Europe’s heavyweights learnt the news of star signing Jude Bellingham’s shoulder injury earlier in the week.
They also remain without Aurelien Tchouameni, Dani Ceballos and Arda Guler in their midfield
Only four senior midfielders remain fit in the squad including Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
Earlier in November, Camavinga signed a new long term contract at the Spanish giants until June 2029.
He joined from French side Stade Rennais in the summer of 2021 for a reported 40 million euros where he bursted onto the scene at the age of 16.
Real Madrid currently remain second in La Liga on 32 points, just two points behind minnows Girona on 34 points.
