Female Cricketer Ava Lee is highly-regarded as one of the most promising up-and-coming stars in the world of female cricket.
At age 17, she made her first class debut for the Southern Vipers against the Sunrisers, and to top it off, she took two wickets.
Lee has the fantastic opportunity of working with two legends of the female game Charlotte Edwards and Anya Shrubsole is an oppotunity that almost all cricketers at her age do not get.
Since retiring from professional cricket in 2018, Edwards has taken on various coaching roles including the Vipers, and the Mumbai Indians in the inaugural Women’s Premier League in India.
Shrubsole on the other hand is still playing cricket, captaining her Southern Brave side to their first female Hundred title.
For cricket fans across the country and even the world, Ava is one to keep an eye out for.
We sent Alex Worth and Archie Starkey down to St Cross Cricket Club in Winchester to chat to Ava, and even have a little bowl off against her.
