READING fans are desperately clinging onto any hope of a takeover, with parties from the US sniffing around the league one outfit.
Royals’s fans have made their intentions clear, smuggling tennis balls into their games to then throw onto the pitch, chanting, booing and whistling.
Despite all the noise, Ruben Selles’ men have continued to give their best efforts so far this season, especially in the Football League Trophy. Beating Exeter City 0-9 and Swindon Town 5-0, giving their fans something to cheer about.
As for the league, it’s looking blue for the royals. Currently sat 22nd in League One on 6 points.
The club have confirmed there is no official agreement for a proposed takeover, however with parties from around Europe peeking at the League One outfit, Reading fans can keep hold of the one thing they are left with, hope.
