Denver Broncos downfall continues

Following the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the Denver Broncos, they now own the longest winning streak against an opponent. They beat the Broncos for the 16th consecutive time.

This only adds to the mounting pressure on the Broncos, as they have a measly 1-5 record, and are not showing many signs of improving. In fact it seems they are ready to knock down the current team and start a rebuild.

This follows the teams decision to trade edge-rusher Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers, who signed a five-year, $70 million contract with Denver only a year ago, in march 2022.

It has also been reported that they are preparing to part ways with linebacker Frank Clark, and wide receiver Jerry Judy is also expected to be moved before the trade deadline on October 31st.

One positive Broncos head coach Sean Payton can takeaway from the game against the Chiefs, is that the defence managed to hold prolific quarterback Patrick Mahomes to only one touchdown.
