MANCHESTER United forward Marcus Rashford is back in training following an internal disciplinary matter.
Manchester United have confirmed that the disciplinary issue with Marcus Rashford has been dealt with after the English international missed training on Friday.
He reported ill to boss Erik Ten-Haag the day before their 4-2 FA Cup win over League Two side Newport County, but was spotted at a nightclub in Belfast on the Wednesday and Thursday.
The club statement read: “Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.”
This is not the first time Rashford has been in trouble with Ten-Haag this season, with the forward being dropped for a Carabao Cup fixture in November after being spotted partying following a 3-0 defeat to bitter rivals Manchester City.
He was also benched last season against Wolves after oversleeping and being late to training.
Despite this, the 26-year-old trained at Carrington yesterday and is in contention to play against the Wanderers on Thursday.
Rashford has scored in his last two Premier League outings, taking his goal tally in the league to just four this season.
