Harry Kane has won his first ballon d or as he becomes the first English player to win it since Michael Owen in 2001.
Kane won footballs most prestigious prize beating both Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to it, with both having pushed Kane all the way.
As well as this Alexia Putellas won the women’s ballon d or for a record equalling third time, as she stopped Aitana Bonmati from winning it for a fourth year in a row.
Kane said it was a “dream come true” as he got his hands on the trophy every footballer wants.
Kane has become one of only five English players to win it after Sir Stanley Matthews, Sir Bobby Charlton, Kevin Keegan and Owen.
