Manchester United have now gone winless in 8 games under manager Michael Carrick.
Carrick got the permanent role of manager after an impressive interim spell which saw Manchester United place 3rd in the Premier League; after a previous lack luster season under manager Ruben Amorim which saw the red devils place 15th.
The Manchester side most recently lost 3-0 to Bournemouth, where the manager was seen crying on the sidelines.
As Carrick and the players walked back in after a thrashing by the Cherries, the manager was applauded, and the players were booed off.
Whilst many believe he should leave his role, others also think the performances come down to the effort from the players themselves.
Some believe the work the players put in is to blame for the poor results, calling Carrick a great manager that should stay in charge, with other priorities on their mind that need changing.
With his job hanging on by a thread, an important question arises: is Carrick to blame for the awful start to Manchester United’s season or is there more than just the manager’s influence to blame?
