Littler vs Clayton: Who will conquer the 2026 Darts Premier League?

The still fairly new playoff format that was introduced back in 2022 means that the top four players in the Premier League table at the end of Night 16 in Sheffield will advance to the play-offs in London on May 23 at the O2 Arena.

With that being said, this year’s edition has been a two-horse race up to this point. Both Luke Littler and Jonny Clayton have been on top form.

Four nights won apiece, yet the Welshman edges it on points difference, having advanced further throughout the tournament.

Night 15 could prove crucial in the run-in as Clayton and Littler will play in the quarter finals. The loser could fall behind in the points table.

There is currently a three-point gap. Clayton on 32, Littler on 29.

Despite this, last night in Liverpool, Luke Littler shrugged off the boos to win Night 12 of the Premier League.

Littler described how he has dealt with the hostile crowd.

“It is what it is. I’ve won and we move on to next week,”

But I’ve just got to forget about it. I was focused, I definitely wanted to win tonight and that’s what I’ve done.”
