Julius Randle shows no love lost to Anthony Edwards and Timberwolves

JULIUS Randle spoke after playing his first few games for the Brooklyn Nets, on how he actually feels wanted in Brooklyn.

Julius explained: “when you’re somewhere where your really wanted, and you have that validation with an organisation really appreciating you and what you bring to the table, it’s an incredible feeling.”

The former Minnesota Timberwolf was a huge part of a trade that sent Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks in October 2024.

This led Minnesota fans to not take too well to Julius Randle at the beggining of his tenure, as the fans were very attatched to Towns.

Despite some big moments as a wolf, Julius was traded this summer which saw him land on the Nets.

This all came after Julius Randle averaged just 16 points per game on 39% shooting from the field in the playoffs.

These stats were a major drop from his regular season averages of 21 points per game on 48% shooting.

Now in a new situation on a rebuilding team, Julius will face less demand to produce as the nets have lower win targets.

This will allow Julius to play his game with little pressure under coach Jordi Fernández as they work to improve their young core in Brooklyn.
