Bayern Munich seek revenge vs. Barcelona in Women’s Champions League semifinal

BAYERN MUNICH prepare to take on Barcelona in a bid to book a spot in their first-ever UEFA Women’s Champions League final during their semifinal first leg on Saturday.

Following their 7-1 defeat at Barcelona on Matchday 1, Bayern are unbeaten in seven matches, winning six on their route to the semifinals.

This includes defeating Women’s Super League side, Manchester United, 5-3 on aggregate with a late comeback win last time out to end their UWCL dream.

Three-time winners Barcelona enter with momentum after thrashing domestic rivals Real Madrid 12-2 on aggregate in the quarterfinals, following an unbeaten league phase.

Ewa Pajor has seven goals in seven appearances so far this campaign as they approach a record eighth consecutive Women’s Champions League semifinal.

The two European giants will face off at the Fußball Arena München on Saturday 25th April with a 5:15pm KO for their Women’s Champions League semifinal first leg.
