TO roundoff a blockbuster weekend of boxing action, Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper will clash in a title-unification fight at London’s Kensington Olympia.

Harper will look to defend the WBO title, while Dubois’ WBC lightweight belt and unbeaten record are at stake in a grudge match between the two Brits.

They headline the first MVPW card, celebrating a landmark multi-year partnership deal between Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions and Sky Sports.

Ellie Scotney, Emma Dolan, Chantelle Cameron and Shannon Courtenay also feature on the undercard, made up of eight women’s bouts and four world title fights.

This follows last night’s event in Cardiff, as Lauren Price overcame adversity to defend her WBC, WBA and IBF belts against Stephanie Piñeiro by unanimous decision.

Post-fight, Claressa Shields entered the ring to stake her claim at facing Price next, despite fighting two weight divisions above the Welsh champion.

“If you want to come up to 160 we can make it happen,” Shields told the BBC.

“If she’s the best out there, all the GWOAT does is fight the best and I’m willing to fight her, dominate her like I do everybody else.

“I feel like me and Lauren fighting is one of the biggest fights in women’s boxing.”

Saturday night also saw Deontay Wilder claim an entertaining split decision win over Derek Chisora at The O2 to reignite his heavyweight title hopes.

For ‘Del Boy’ this was his 50th and final pro fight, although reluctant to confirm he was stepping away from the sport during his interview.

With Anthony Joshua sat ringside and fellow heavyweight Fabio Wardley on commentary duties, Wilder said: “You can call me Mr Clean, because I want to clean up the whole division.

“The division is nothing without Deontay Wilder.”
