Man United’s close shave in London

THE most anticipated haircut may have its finale this afternoon.

Manchester United travel to London to face in form West Ham as the irons fight to stay in the league.

United could make it a fifth win in a row with victory over the hammers, something they haven’t achieved since February 2023 under manager Erik Ten Haag.

Not only would this record be broken, but a fifth win would allow viral united fan, the United stand to end his 439 day streak of not cutting his hair.

The internet sensation Frank Illet was asked what style he plan on cutting it to, provided hi steam win tonight to which he stated:

“Something like that I think. [Buzz cut] To start with, it needs to be cut off in bunches. But then, probably buzz cut all over and start again, start fresh.”

A trip to the barbers isn’t guaranteed however as the home side come into the game in form, winning three of their last four games and sitting fourth in the form table behind only Bournemouth, Chelsea and leaders Manchester United.

Micheal Carrick has stated he’s aware of the haircut but it will have no influence in the team talk or the final outcome.

Manchester United have historically dominated this fixture, triumphing over the hammers 74 times out of the 157 meetings, though they have struggled to replicate this recently, not beating the London side since February 2024.

However the Clarets have stumped United in big occasions before, famously denying Sir Alex Ferguson’s side the league in the 1994/95 season, securing it for Blackburn Rovers.

West ham have won their last three home games against the northern side and even completed a double against them last season but after confident wins against the top two, Fulham and spurs, it seems like there little that can stop the reds momentum.

The match promises to be a close shave with many wondering will Man United Comb out of the game victorious or will West Ham take the scalp of the Reds once more.
