The Tottenham Hotspur stadium hosts the second week of the NFL international series in London on Sunday as the New York Jets play the Denver Broncos.
For the fourth year in a row the NFL returns to London and for the fifth time it will be played in North London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Games have previously been held at Wembley Stadium from 2007 to 2015.
The Jets and the Broncos have now played each other 42 times, including one postseason game in 1999.
The Broncos have won 23 times, lost 18, and have tied once between the teams.
Since 2020, the two teams have played each other five times, where the Denver Broncos won three times.
The Jets have lost all five games they have played so far this season and currently sit fourth in the AFC East conference.
Denver has three wins and two losses so far this season, and they are sitting in second in the AFC West.
The Jets defense has been lackluster sitting in the bottom half in conceding yards per game (347.4, 22nd), rushing yards (140.4, 27th), and points (31.4, 31st).
Jets Defensive End Jermaine Johnson will return to play this weekend.
He has missed three games due to injury and is “ready to go”
Johnson was injured in the second quarter in their defeat to the Buffalo Bills in week two.
Johnson’s was also injured early last season, tearing his Achilles tendon and had missed the majority of the season.
The Broncos have impressed defensively, breaking the top 10 in all major stats.
Offensively, they have also been solid rushing the fourth most of any team and in average overall yards completed they are 10th in the league.
Denver are coming off their best win of the season, defeating the current Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles in a shock upset.
Justin Fields has struggled so far this season and has yet to win in his career when the other team has scored 21 or more points.
While the season is still early, there will be a look at the playoffs, trying to get a favorable seed to have a long playoff run with hopes of the superbowl.
The game kicks off at 2:30 pm, this Sunday, 12th October and will be free to watch on 5.
