THE FINAL day of the Champions League, league phase is tomorrow. With all 18 games being played simultaneously, fans can expect nothing but chaos throughout the evening.
For the English clubs, every fan has a nail biting evening ahead of them, all for different reasons.
For Liverpool, qualification is not the issue, it never was. The reds have flown through the group stage, winning all their games, conceding only twice.
They face PSV Eindhoven on the final day, with a draw being enough to secure them top spot in the table.
For Arsenal, a trip to Spain to face Girona FC, where a draw will be enough to secure a place in the last sixteen.
Mikel Arteta will be looking to leapfrog Barcelona into second with a win, and Girona, who have lost six of their seven league phase games, look an easy opponent.
The Gunners have also got an excellent defensive record, only conceding two goals, whilst Girona have only scored four goals in seven games.
Aston Villa and Celtic are separated by just a point as they face each other on the final day. Unai Emery’s side are battling for a spot in the top eight after an impressive start.
It’s likely only a win will see them progress automatically to the round of 16.
Manchester City have the nerviest game of all, as a Club Brugge side, unbeaten in their last 20, stand in the way of only a play-off place.
A loss will see them dumped out in the group phase of the Champions League for the first time since 2012/13.
