SOUTHERN based Boxer Ryan Garner will put his belt back on the line as he is set to step foot in the ring on January 9th face to Jazza Dickens at Bournemouth’s BIC.
The fight will mark Garner’s first defence of his WBC interim title, which he secured at St Mary’s in June 2026.

He will put the belt on the line against former world champion Dickens, who held the WBA super-featherweight title from 2025 to 2026 and the IBO featherweight crown between 2022 and 2023.
Following his dream victory in front of a packed St Mary’s crowd, lifelong Saints fan Garner declared that his life was complete at the age of just 28.
“I talked about fighting at St Marys for years”
He told Talk Sports back in June.
“I thought I was kidding myself a little bit. It’s a lot of people to put in there, and you need the backing of your promoter and the fanbase.
“Now I’ve fought at St Mary’s, I’ve fought for a world title, I’ve won a world title. I believe there is so much more to come. There’s a lot of great fights to come.
“I’m 28 years old, and my life is complete.”
