Isaac Hutchinson’s Future Uncertain

Isaac Hutchinson’s future remains uncertain at Bristol Rovers, with rumours beginning to circulate.

Rovers manager Steve Evans said that ‘he’s talking to Isaac on Monday’ to discuss Isaac Hutchinson’s future at Bristol Rovers, following the 26-year-old’s impressive loan spell at Cheltenham Town.

In all competitions, Hutchinson has scored 20 goals, with only Aaron Drinan scoring more goals than him in League Two. On Sunday he was named in the EFL League Two team of the season.

Hutchinson suffered a difficult start to his Bristol Rovers career, and was part of the team that got relegated from League One last season.

Evans spoke about the situation: “this doesn’t come into it, whether, do I think he’s a good very good player? Yes, I do. Do I think there will be interest? We know there is already.

“Will he go back to Cheltenham? Highly unlikely and probably impossible. But there’s every chance we’ll keep him here. We just have to sit in a room with Isaac and have that conversation.”
