F1 pre-season testing to begin

Bahrain’s three days of testing for the upcoming 2024 season is due to begin tomorrow.

Expectations for the Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren and Mercedes, are high in the following days, the 10 cars will be out on the track proving their pace and their new machines.

After Red Bull’s dominance, the team will be looking forward to keep lifting trophies and being on podiums, in company of their drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

Mercedes W15 , Ferrari’s SF-24 and McLaren MCL38, are aiming to stop Red Bull’s and Verstappen dominance on Formula 1, with their new concepts and surprisingly new changes in design and a promising performances.

Carlos Sainz says “There are things in this car that are always from Ferrari, there are also things from Mercedes, Aston Martin, Red Bull … I think that among all the teams we are taking with a grain of salt what we like about each one.”

“The engineers at Ferrari have innovated, there are things about the car that are not seen that are purely ideas at Ferrari that I am sure will give us more performance.”

After an incredible season for the McLaren’s with noticeable changes and podiums compared to previous years, Lando Norris signed a multi-year contract with the British team and Oscar Piastri, who had his debut in Formula 1, in the 2023 season, won two podiums as a “rookie” and gave important point for McLaren.

Williams just announced their delay for the upcoming testing in Bahrain, due to an improvement and changes in their chassis technology.
