Harry Kane became the first Englishman to win the Ballon D’or but was it deserved ahead of the other players he was up against?
Kane beat both Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal to football’s most prestigious award but it has been questioned by many fans as to if he deserved to win it.
Having scored 73 goals in a season it could be hard for him to not be considered as the best player of the year.
A case was made for Mbappe as he top scored in the World Cup the Champions League and the La Liga.
Whilst Yamal won the World Cup and won the young talent of the year award at the Ballon D’or ceremony.
