THERE were ugly scenes at the news conference for the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight, which saw bottles, microphones, and verbal abuse thrown, with KSI spitting a piece of gum at Fury’s father, John Fury.
Saturday 14th October is the date set for an historic fight in the “crossover boxing” scene as Tommy Fury and KSI lock horns to settle a long term feud between the two celebrities.
After Fury defeated Jake Paul in May, KSI was the next logical opponent for the professional boxer. The YouTuber is the only high profile YouTube Boxer who is undefeated and has claimed he “could beat a horse in a fight” and “Could beat Mike Tyson”.
KSI vs Tommy Fury isn’t the only fight of the evening however, MMA professional Dillon Danis takes on WWE Star and YouTuber Logan Paul in a co main event – the build up has seen threats of lawsuits and personal attacks from Danis over Paul’s fiance.
KSI spat gum at at John Fury from a balcony after the Gypsy King’s father threw a bottle towards the YouTuber, before Fury and KSI faced off in a cage. Where John Fury decided to throw a barrage of punches and eventually a head butt towards the plastic that that separated the two fighters.
Dillon Danis and Logan Paul’s build up has been more sinister, with the latter accusing Danis of predatory behaviour for his focus on Paul’s fiance. Their face off ended when Danis threw a microphone at Paul, cutting his face near his eye socket.
As Tommy Fury said, it’s like a “circus”.
