ANOTHER week of boxing saw Saudi rule supreme and putting on another elite show.
Knockout chaos kept up to the nickname and the high expectations bringing quality top to bottom.

Anthony Joshua destroyed Francis Ngannou by brutal knockout.
Joshua took one the challenge of Ngannou this weekend and drove through the Cameroonian knocking him out in round 2.
AJ dropped Ngannou in the first with a textbook straight right down the throat.
Round two saw AJ absolutely destroy Ngannou.
After knocking him down in the second he then seconds later smashed Ngannou’s head right off.
Described as one of the most brutal KO’s in heavyweight history by commentary.
Ngannou had previously never been knocked out in his MMA or Boxing career.
Anthony Joshua makes a giant statement finishing Francis with absolute ease.
Probably the most dangerous man in boxing right now and will have his pick of the boxing world.
Joshua looks to take on the winner of Usyk and Fury who battle for unified heavyweight gold in May.
Portsmouth based Mark Chamberlain finishes Welsh Gavin Gwynne.
Mark chamberlain cut Gavin Gwynne under the eye in round one and looked very sharp.
Round 2 saw Chamberlain continue a onslaught with massive left hooks and uppercuts landing on Gywnne closing the eye up even more.
Round 3 more of the same strong controlled shots from Chamberlain which Gwynne couldn’t seem to answer.
Round 4 and it was all over Mark Chamberlain battered Gwynne and after firing a set of body shots and hooks the Gavin Gwynne corner threw the towel in.

He will now look toward world level action in the lightweight division with many options out there.
Rey Vargas and Nick Ball go the distance to a split draw.
Vargas dominated the first 6 rounds keeping Ball at range with Nick struggling to get in the pocket and catch Vargas.
But after 6 Nick Ball found his range hurting Vargas with heavy hooks even knocking down the Mexican in round 8.
A lot of holding went on for both fighters causing some no knockdown falls for Vargas.
Legs again wobbled for Vargas after a shot from Ball right at the end of the 9th,
Massive body shot from Vargas in the 10th had Ball falling back for a second.
Ball knocks Vargas again in the 11th after landing another huge overhand right on the chin of Vargas.
Nick Ball takes Vargas to the mean streets of Liverpool in the final round by using his unrelenting pressure to push Rey to the limit.
The scorecards read 114-112 Vargas, 110-116 Ball and 113-113 resulting in a split draw.
Big controversy in this fight as most scored a Ball win, especially with two knockdowns.
Frank Warren came into the ring to discuss the controversy “how was that a draw especially with the two knockdowns”
In response to being asked wether there will be a rematch Warren said “ I’m sure it’ll be ordered by the WBC”
The usual quiet Saudi Arabia crowd even booed Vargas when coming in for his post fight interview.
Vargas said in this interview “I will definitely give him a rematch and even go to his backyard”
Joseph Parker won a Majority Decision against Zheli Zhang despite being knocked down twice.
Parker got knocked down in round three with a straight left down the gullet from Zhang.
Parker looked better in 4 even knocking Zhang off balance with a big right.
Round 6 Parker grew in confidence.
In 7 it seemed light with the pair taking the round off, both not really being too busy.
Early into the 8th Parker caught Zhang and wakes him up but Zhang drops him with another short shot later.
Despite Zhang’s confusion 2/3 judges gave Parker a win with the third giving a draw.
Parker now will be in potential heavyweight purgatory with no stand out fights for him to take and no obvious path to go down.
