WINCHESTER City take on Tiverton town in a Southern Premier Division South clash this evening as the Citizens look to make it two wins on the bounce after a difficult run of results.
Winchester currently sit 12th in the league with 35 points whereas the visitors are one place above the relegation zone in 18th with 27.
The game will be played at the Charters Community Stadium in Winchester and the pitch will hopefully be up to scratch for the referee, as games recently have been at risk of being called off.
In their last match, the home side beat Basingstoke Town 2-0 with goals coming from club captain Jamie Barron and in-form Trevor Caborn.
Tiverton also come into this game off the back of a win in which they beat Poole Town 4-2, but before this win, they had drawn two and lost two in their last four games.
Both clubs have had a similar run of form in their last five games so a close match-up is to be expected tonight as this match could massively boost the confidence of one of the teams.
Potential match winners
There are a few players that could make the key difference in this game but one player from Winchester that could really change the game in 19 year old winger Caborn.
He has scored two goals in the last two games and has been causing opposing wingbacks some major issues with his pace, power and technical ability.
Tiverton’s new man Joe Parker could cause some issues for Winchester as he scored two goal on his debut against poole and ended up winning man of the match.
Where can you watch it?

When will it kick off?
The game will start at 19:45pm on the 30th January 2024 and will be played under the floodlights.
