SAN Francisco 49ers win NFC Conference title and will fight for the Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas thanks to Quarterback Brock Purdy.
The 2022 Mr Irrelevant which is the name given to the player picked last in the draft has been silencing his critics by proving time and time again that he is a top tier quarterback and after two comeback wins in the playoffs Brock Purdy has changed the narrative that he is just an average player in a good team.
The 262nd pick failed to get his offence rolling and couldn’t score in the first quarter and it was looking like it would be another NFC championship loss for the former Iowa state Quarterback.
After finally scoring in the second quarter the floodgates opened and in the third quarter the 49ers scored 17 points with touchdowns from Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk and a field goal from Jake Moody tied the game up 24-24.
San Francisco took the lead in the 4th quarter and even though the lions put up a fight late on the 49ers will be heading to Las Vegas to face an old rival of the Kanas City Chiefs. This is a replay of the 2020 Superbowl and the 49ers will be looking for revenge and finally get their hands on the Lombardi trophy for the first time since 1994.
The only thing that stands in their way is 2 time MVP Patrick Mahomes who is looking to add a third Super Bowl to his long list of accolades.
