Osaka looking fierce whilst in action
NAOMI Osaka will return to the tennis scenes once again after a six months break after giving birth to her daughter Shai in July.
She will be featuring at the Brisbane International which will take place from December 31st to 7th January , proving to be a pivotal fixture before the Australian open on the 14th January.
The Japanese has not played on the WTA Tour since the 2022 Pan Pacific open held in Tokyo in September.
The four-time Grand Slam winner can’t wait to be back fighting once again amongst the worlds top female tennis players.
Osaka said;”I am really excited about getting back out on court and competing.
“I always love starting my season in Brisbane and can’t wait to return.
The Brisbane International is such a great tournament and will set me up for a brilliant comeback this summer.”
The last of her four grand slams were won at the Australian open in 2021, being her second tournament victory at Melborune Park.
