The Basingstoke Bison are off to a great start to their league campaign, as they currently sit seventh and are inside playoff spots.
This is their first full season back, as last season the team returned from a two year hiatus, although for the first six weeks of the season they had no home rink.
This meant heavy travel for the team and as semi-pros this made it extremely hard on the players.
New head coach Tony Redmond will definitely be looking to improve their position in the league.
Last season they missed the playoffs and finished bottom of the table, so making the playoffs would be a huge step in the right direction.
