A SOUTHERN League Premier Central clash awaits as Kettering Town host AFC Sudbury this evening at Latimer Park.

The game kicks off at 19:45, and Kettering go into the game as strong favourites, beating Sudbury in their most recent fixture just three days ago, winning 4-1.

The home side sit in ninth place just six points away from playoff positions with games in hand to catchup on, whilst Sudbury sit second from bottom in 21st position.

AFC Sudbury have just parted with ways coach Tom Austin, who left after overseeing the sides 4-1 thrashing at their home stadium.

Austin had only stepped into the role five months ago after only joining as interim head coach.

The club are yet to appoint a new permanent first team manager, and have confirmed that assistant coach Jamie Thomson will be in charge this evening, who will be hoping for some new manager bounce to turn around the clubs fortunes.

Kettering Town have scored eight goals in their last five games as they look to be in playoff contention.

In the last five meetings between the two sides, Kettering have won each time, painting a devastating picture for Sudbury, who are winless in their last thirteen.

Solent Sports News will be reporting live from the match tonight, and you can tune into both radio and TV shows for live reports via YouTube.
