Former Eastleigh boss Paul Doswell is set to take over as new Sholing manager from next week.
Doswell will replace club legend Dave Diaper who moves into a new role as Head of Football Operations at the club.
Diaper has been first team manager since 1999 taking charge of over 1200 games, including the 2014 FA Vase win at Wembley.
“As I prepare to embark on a new chapter in my football journey I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared over the last 25 years.
It has been an honour and privilege to manage this club and the countless players across the years and I really appreciate the support you’ve all shown me throughout my tenure.”

We spoke to the legendary manager ahead of the sides league game against rivals AFC Totton on Tuesday night.
”It’s important we beat them tonight, I must admit it would be nice to get the win over them as my time comes to an end.”

Diaper is excited to welcome Doswell to the club and hopes the pair can create a close working relationship.
”I’m looking forward to working with Paul, hopefully we can work together on the same page.”
