West Ham reach FA Cup Quarter-Finals for first time in 10 years

WEST Ham beat fellow Premier League side Brentford last night after a dramatic penalty shootout to reach the FA Cup Quarter Finals.

The last time the London-based side reached this point in the competition was back in 2016, when they were bested by Manchester United 2-1 at Upton Park.

On that day, it was an 18-year-old Marcus Rashford and a Marouane Fellaini finish that fired the Red Devils into the next round, despite a late James Tomkins header.

The West Ham Boss was happy for the players to give something back to the fans, given their impressive support all season.

“The atmosphere in the end was amazing, our fans celebrating… they deserve this moment of happiness.

“It’s been hard, but they’ve been sticking with us, supporting us and I think the boys are giving back, so it was a very good night.”

Nuno Espiritos Santo’s side will now face Leeds at their new place of operations, the London Stadium on the weekend of 4/5 April 2026.
