NBA preview: Nuggets vs Lakers and Warriors vs Suns

THE NBA season begins tonight as reigning champions Denver Nuggets play the Los Angeles Lakers in the Ball Arena at Denver Colorado ready for a 12.30 am tip-off.

The Nuggest have kept fine form since winning the Championship through their pre season matches dispite not having a pick in the first round of the draft.

However they was traded the 29th overall pick Julian Strawther who went to Gonzaga and was picked by the Indiana Pacers.

Their first Pick was Maxwell Lewis who has now been traded to opponents Lakers.

This was a three way trade deal between Nuggets, Lakers and Pacers.

The ring ceremony will be presented tonight for the defending champions, this will be the first time in franchise history the Nugget will receive this honour along with the banner hoist.

Steph Curry enters his 15th season in the league with The Golden State Warriors, they play the Phoenix Suns in San Francisco California at the Chase Arena with a 3 am Tip-off.

Kevin Durant makes a return to San Francisco where injuries have denied him all but once, however this was during the pandemic and fans were not allowed to spectate.

This tip off won’t lack in points as both of their star players are scoring champions, Curry has one scoring title and is the leading all time three-point scorer, and Durant has four scoring titles.

Devin Booker is in the prime of his career and already has five 50 plus point games including one where he scored 71 points for the Suns.

The Suns went 3-1 last season in their four games against the Warriors and are looking to continue their winning record against a fellow west coast team.
