ASTON Villa will play host to Newcastle United at Villa Park in the Premier League on Tuesday night hoping to cement their place in the top four against a side whose hopes in Europe have been wrecked by injures.
Villa currently find themselves sitting in fourth place three points clear of fifth pace side Tottenham Hotspur. They also have the chance to go within two points of league leaders Liverpool.
Newcastle will be hoping to end their run of four straight loses in the Premier League as they have recently been hit by multiple injures.
Despite this they were able to pick up a 2-0 win against fellow Premier League side Fulham in the 4th round of the FA Cup and Eddie Howe still has the chance to pick up his first piece of silverware as a manager.
However, Aston Villa will be looking to continue their unbeaten run at Villa Park which goes back to last season where it was Arsenal who were the last side to beat them back in February last year.
Watkins has been involved in nine goals in his last eight Premier League home games scoring five and assisting four along the way. Along with the English player being in fine form at home he has the potential to become the third Villa player to reach the 50 Premier League goals milestone the others being Gabriel Agbonlahor (74) and Dwight Yorke (60).
