INDIA were crowned ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup champions today after producing a stunning performance in the final against England at Harare Sports Club!
After winning the toss, India’s captain chose to bat first on a good surface, and that decision paid off in spectacular fashion.
From the outset, the Indian top order looked intent on dominating, but it was the innings of Vaibhav Suryavanshi that completely stole the show and turned the final into a one-sided spectacle.
The 14-year-old superstar played with a confidence well beyond his years, dismantling the England bowling attack with an extraordinary knock of 175 from just 80 balls!
