Hat-trick hero for Joshua Crittenden

A monumental performance for Hythe and Dibden U23s player, Joshua Crittenden who scored three goals and got one assist in a 5-2 win against Clanfield U23s.

It has been a difficult period for Hythe and Diben due to games being postponed and pitches not being available but they managed to dust off their ring rust and get the job done at the Hythe Garage Stadium.

Next up for Hythe is Winchester City on Monday 10th February and this will provide a difficult test.

Hythe U23s manager, Liam Edgar, said Winchester are “Something Special, I have no doubt about that”.

The win against Clanfield should ensure positivity through the camp and hopefully they can take this morale booster into their next big game against Winchester.

The man of the moment, Joshua Crittenden, stated that he was “lacking in fitness” towards the end of the game after a few months away from the pitch.

However, he was pleased about his performance and happy to be on the scoresheet but most importantly to get the win.
