FA condemned for not lighting Wembley arch

THE Governments private Anti Semitism advisor has lashed out against the FAs decision not to light Wembley in respect to the lives lost during the ongoing Israel Palestinian conflict.

The private advisor described the FAs inaction as ;”mind blowing.”

Sporting bodies have been encouraged by The Department for Culture, Media and Sport to pay tribute to the innocent people in Israel who have been killed from radical attacks committed by Palestinian military group Hamas.

However, earlier on in the week before Englands International friendly tonight with Australia, the FA stated that both teams will pay respect to the innocent people killed in the war by issuing all players with a black armband each.

Lord John Mann, The Governments antisemitism advisor, commented;” I mad it easy for them (the FA).

“Why don’t you put up the Jewish prayers colours which have been there for thousands of years?”

He added;” The Wembley arch is seen by the jewish community in north London more than any other icon , and the fact that they couldn’t do that for an hour or two last night just to give that message of hope and comfort, I found quite depressing.

“yet instead they’re having a minutes silence on a Friday evening when not a single jewish person will be present” which Mann can’t get his head around.

After Russias illegal invasion of Ukraine last year the FA lit up Wembley’s arch paying tribute to the innocent victims of the conflict.
