THE hum of engines, the scent of fuel, and the buzz of excitement in the air; where else would you be other than Thruxton Circuit?
A former World War II airfield, Thruxton is full of sweeping bends and lightning straights and overtime has become a cornerstone of British motorsport.
It hosts everything from British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) rounds to superbike and truck racing, and now anyone can book themselves in for an experience.
Even if you’re not a professional, Thruxton offers plenty of opportunities to get behind the wheel.
Its driving experiences range from supercar laps in Ferraris and Lamborghinis to single-seater sessions that mimic the feel of Formula racing.
Evan Roberts headed down to the circuit tucked away in Hampshire to test out the experience and to get a feel of the motorsport community.
