Dream start for Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard has the dream start to his Milwauke Bucks career.

In a win over the Philadelpia Sixers, the Bucks start their season off with a win.

Lillard scored 39 points in a 118-117 victory, acquiring eight rebounds and four assists to complete an amazing first appearance.

Signing just a couple months ago, the all NBA guard made the team one of the contenders for the 2024 NBA championship.

Pairing with former MVP and one time NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo, they are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

This one point win over the Sixers moves them from fifth to second in the NBA power rankings.

Lillard averaged 32 points last season making him the third best scorer in the league.

Combined with his Greek teammate who scored 31 points on average, they would have the most points out of any NBA duo in the league.

Having lost some important members of the roster, like Jrue Holiday going to the Boston Celtics, and Greyson Allen going to the Pheonix Suns.

The league has multiple teams known as ‘power teams’ now , and with both the Bucks starts being at the latter end of their careers, its a last push for both these stars to win a title together.

And for Lillard, a first ever ring.
