Devils looking for bounce back against division leaders Redhawks

The Solent Devils Ice Hockey team are back on the rink for the first time since their 3-0 loss to Streatham two weeks ago on the 21st of January.

The Devils had last weekend off due to missing out on qualifying for the semi finals of the Britton cup.

The 4th placed side play host to the league leaders who advanced to the Britton Cup final after defeating the Invicta Dynamos by an aggregate score of 7-4.

Solent are winless in their last two games having lost 5-4 in overtime the evening before their previous bout with Streatham at their arena.

Solent’s top point scorer, Steve Sutton, had his five game point streak snapped against in the 3-0 loss and is looking to get back on track against the leagues top side.

Streatham are on an eight game winning streak and are tied first in the league with the Slough Jets but they have five games in hand on their closest rivals.

The opening face off is at 7pm on Saturday the 3rd of February at Planet Ice Gosport, the home of your Solent Devils.
