England look to create a ‘special atmosphere’ against Wales this weekend.

England face wales this weekend at Twickenham in the second round of fixtures in the Six Nations.

England are heading into this game in good form after the Lions beat Italy last weekend 27-24, in a performance where they had to dig deep to secure the win in Rome.

England now head into this game against Wales as betting favourites and have won the most recent fixture between these two sides. A 19-17 win against the Dragons back in August in the Summer Nations Series.

“We’re delighted to be back playing in front of a sold-out Twickenham Stadium this Saturday,” said England head coach Steve Borthwick.

“The visit of the Wales team is always a fixture that creates a special atmosphere.”

Even after England’s good start to the tournament against Italy, Borthwick is still looking for improvements in his side:

“We’ve had two more sessions this week and I said there are areas that we’d attend to and there’s areas we nee to improve on and that’s what we’ve gone and done this week from the last one.

“I think you have seen a commitment from the players to do things differently in the last few sessions”.

Elsewhere in the Six Nations Scotland Host France at Hampden park, the Bravehearts squeezed out a win last weekend against Wales winning 27-26 at the principality stadium.

Ireland are also in action this weekend, they will come into the game against Italy as heavy favourites after their 38-17 demolition against France last weekend.
