NEIL Warnock will take charge of his first game tonight against Rangers, after being made interim manager last night.
Warnock takes charge until the end of the season, after reportedly turning jobs offering three times the salary. This comes after the sacking of former Aberdeen manager Barry Robson.
The 75-year-old will have his first game in charge against Rangers tonight at 8:00pm.
Neil Warnock holds the record for most games managed in English league football, with 1,626. He has also been in charge for eight promotions.
Aberdeen face Rangers, who sit in second place, three points behind league leaders Celtic and with a game in hand.
Aberdeen’s Bojan Miovski sits second in the top scorer’s standings with 12, however, Rangers’ Abdallah Sima sits just behind in third, with 10 goals.
Aberdeen sit eighth in the league, with six wins and seven draws, however, a win here would see them up to sixth place.
