The Spitfires National League game against Oldham has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Silverlake Stadium.
The Hampshire side were looking to bounce back after a disappointing FA Cup loss to Newport County.
If they did win on Tuesday night against the Welsh side they would have made history whilst getting a huge reward of playing world renowned Manchester United.
It would have been the Spitfires’ first appearance in the Fourth Round of the oldest cup competition, if they won, but they fell to a gut wrenching 3-1 defeat, in the week.
Richard Hill and his side’s attention now turns back to the league wear the play-off spots will be at the conclusion of the season.
The Spitfires agonisingly missed out on the play-off places last season even after having an impeccable home record.
